Every year people clean their houses, make varieties of sweets, and decorate their houses with beautiful rangoli and colorful diyas to celebrate the festival.

There are various colorful diya with different shapes and sizes. One can also create wax diya at home easily. Colorful candles are at vogue, it looks vibrant, classy and eye catching. You can place such candles or diya on beautiful stands or on rose petals also.

2.       Rangoli


Mainly children of the house get excited to draw colorful rangoli at home; you can see big rangoli of various patterns outside of their houses.

3.       Door Decoration


Usually door decoration is an old Hindu Culture and generally toran is used to decorate door. Toran is generally made up of flowers, mango leaves but artificial toran is also available or can be made from colourful paper and beads.

4.       Ceiling decor


Market is well stocked with chandelier (zhumar) made up of beads, color paper, flowers or clay. You can create it home also using craft paper, gum and scissors.
